Anyone in London going to the Games?

Anyone worldwide just watching the Games?

I like Track and Field and Gymnastics.

Being from the USA, I'm looking forward to Lolo Jones redeeming herself from the 2008 Beijing stumble she had in the 100 meter hurdles.

Go Lolo! :)

Remember the time zone differences.

No spoilers! :o

I'd like it better if the news wouldn't give me scores/results before the broadcast...or rather, if the games were shown live in US

Watching avidly, and even enjoying sports I've never really been a big fan of. Like the rowing over the last couple of days, and the amazing pairs Gold medal today.

Having been a biker of sorts for more years than I care to remember (racing days finished some time ago), I've also loved the cycling, especially after the recent World Championships and the Tour De France.

Amazing stuff, and I enjoyed the opening ceremony as well, although I think you really had to be British to get it all.

EDIT: I've been using the new BBC video player quite a lot Fluff.

I must say the BBC coverage is outstanding. Being able to switch between so many sports is great.

Yesterday was our best medal day... remember guys over the pond we are just a little spec of a country size wise so we won't get as many as you :)

Phelps medal tally is amazing, overtaking the lady who has held the record for the most medals for decades. I believe she was pregnant at one Olympics and hid the fact so she could compete.

nope not censorship. It's about exclusive regional sports broadcast licencing. NBC/Universal has American exclusivity 2020 (so 2 more Olympics after this). 64 nations can watch live on YouTube, but not the u.s.

on a separate note, I did not know trampoline was an Olympic sport, but those guys sure can jump.

things NBC has shown live on their various channels that I've seen: Fencing, Trampoline, Mitt Romney's Horse, and football (which I'm fine with watching.

Things NBC failed to show live (thus far) Phelps losing, Phelps winning, Russian gymnast falling (which NBC failed to show at all, thus removing the real reason the USA team won), most other notable events, opening ceremony

Just watched the race for the gold in the mens' cycle sprint. Remarkable race, decisive win. Not sure about the time differences, so no names.

And the young man from Mongolia, Tuvshinbayar Naidan, who won the silver in Judo about 45 minutes after he tore his left ACL. Simply amazing. To even stand up on a torn ACL is amazing.

The Olympians are all heroes. Shows us the best in ourselves in character, sportsmanship, and just plain grit. My hat is off to them all, and to London for hosting the games.

The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)

Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.

The place I would have loved to have been these Olympics is in the Velodrome.

Another amazing day of racing. These guys look quick on the TV, but to sit trackside must be nothing short of inspiring.

It's a shame Vicky Pendleton couldn't have bowed out with a Gold.

A great Olympics all round, which even the British weather couldn't put a damper on.

Also really pleased to see that Windows XP was involved in the Mars landing :)

Yes, the Olympics have been a great hit in the UK giving everyone a much needed lift.

Never seen as many bikes on the road around here as there has been the last couple of days!!

The closing ceremony... I'm sorry if I offend some people... but I found it to be pretty bad... It seemed like many of the "singers" weren't actually singing and were just miming. One good thing I found about it was the way they had the piano keyboard playing on the seats of the stadium, that was pretty cool.
