Several users, including me, have noticed that the email recovery process fails. See http://forum.pirifor...showtopic=36318 and http://forum.pirifor...showtopic=36387

And the filtering is funny now, as in http://forum.pirifor...showtopic=36288

And deep scan shows up a huge number of files ignored, as in http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=36415&hl

And in Info the Creation Time and Date Last Accessed are transposed, but that's been going on for so long I've lost hope of it being resolved. or explained.

This release of Recuva needs attention!

And to add to the list:

I never use the Wizard, but when testing this I found that there's no way to rerun the Wizard apart from switching to Advanced Mode, clicking on Options, and selecting Run Wizard. I'm sure this has been mentioned already by Wizard users, many times perhaps.

Secondly there is a discrepancy between the scan results of the Wizard and Advanced Mode. The Wizard seems to use the default Option settings (i.e. ignore zero byte files, ignore hidden files, etc): this can cause confusion if you have non-default options set.

Thirdly In Advanced mode (you can't do this in the Wizard) when there are multiple partitions to scan, if you chose a non-system partition and scan it then after a relatively short period the drive box changes back to the system c drive all on its own. You then rescan and get different results, of course. This has caused me considerable loss of brain cells.
