Moderators Andavari Posted June 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 19, 2012 If you don't have any programs or want to try any that require Java it's easy enough to live without. Flash (in all its buggy glory) on the other hand isn't so easy to live without, I'd like to get rid of it myself due to the never ending bugs but also like watching online videos which require it. nodles
Can't even install the latest Java, not 32 or 64bit. Also previous versions (at least the 32bit update 4) can't be uninstalled properly.

nodles
I know, I made the Winapp2.ini entry for JavaRa log. At least updated it, can't remember. Doesn't help, also removed every "java"-file and registry entry, still no luck. GG Java.

nodles
Does the Beta version 2 work for you ? http://singularlabs....avara-download/ I've tried JavaRa and JavaRa 2 beta 3. How many versions are left party uninstalled? If it is only a couple try re-installing that particular version, rebooting, and then uninstall it. Sometimes if versions have been installed on top of another version ''strange things can happen'' Previously I had none Java versions installed. Now I've 64bit and it works (Java 7 u5 64bit), tested with Minecraft. But can't install 32bit 7u5 and if I try to install older eg. 7u4 (my previous version) it says "Another version of this product is already installed...". Don't know if the current 64bit works correctly, I can see it under Windows Add/Rmove, but not in RevoUninstaller. What's also weird is that CCleaner still shows Java 7 Update 4 installed even though I've (at least tried) uninstalled it in different ways. CCleaner also shows 7u5 64bit. Edit: "Uninstalled" Java 7 Update 4 with CCleaner, it doesn't really remove it because if I refresh the "Uninstall"-section in CCleaner it immediatly comes back. Also it seems I can remove Java 7u5 64bit normally, but not sure if it uninstalls correctly. It doesn't reappear in CCleaner after uninstall.
