Dougmoly
My Cleaner goes as far as the Windows Log Files then "stalls" (sometimes all day). This has been happening for @ a month now. I have updated to the latest version (did not help). Is there a fix?

Moderators Nergal Posted March 16, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 16, 2012 uncheck windows logs then try a clean again ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Dougmoly
Does not show specific file. Just "System" "Windows Log Files". I surly could uncheck it but if it takes that long to clean then it would seem like I would actually want it cleaned even more. What exactly do the "Log Files" record??? kroozer
What exactly do the "Log Files" record??? After analyzing, to view a list of the files right click Windows Log Files and left click View detailed results. You can also Save to text file, open the log and copy items into your search engine, find and view the contents.
