Tinus
I wanted to remove cookies. I collected a list of cookies. But it wasn't possible to remove the cookies because there was no toolbar! What to do?
Moderators hazelnut Posted February 13, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 13, 2012 You need to give more info. What is your operating system and service pack. What build of ccleaner are you using. What toolbar are you talking about? LazyCarrot
Having the same problem - so I thought I'd hijack this post as it seems to have fizzled out Running OSX 10.6.8 / CCleaner 1.01.106 Basically I've got my list of cookies to delete and my list of cookies to keep but no sign of a button to delete/clean them Kind of suspect i'm missing something obvious it won't be the first time! I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy
Moderators Nergal Posted March 7, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 7, 2012 the cookies to keep section is just so you can pick the cookies, the actual cleaning of cookies is done via the normal ccleaner cleaning (under your browser type select cookies) Hazelnut, this is the for Mac section so no Service Packs here, no worries I missed the location of the post too my first time in, I only noticed because I was impressed by Lazy Carrot's solving of the MAC version crash that when I read him posting here I knew this was about MAC, also I too did not understand the "toolbar" reference ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
