daniel337
Hi there, there is a slim installer available on the builds download website of Speccy (http://www.piriform.com/speccy/builds) since a few days. Very cool that a slim installer should be available for this program, too. Unfortunately, this link is not working yet. Could you please put this file up on your server? Thank your very much! Moderators DennisD Posted February 6, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 6, 2012 Hi Daniel, and welcome to the forum. Thanks for the heads up. I get "Sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found ". I'll point that out to the devs.

daniel337
Hi, for the actual version of "Speccy" there is no slim-installer available on the download page. Is this correct (no slim version any longer available) or will this page / this sllim-version will still be updated in the future? Daniel
Moderators Nergal Posted April 2, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 2, 2012 Usually as has been stated elsewhere, slims show up ~1 week or so after a release, but I it's been a month since the latest Speccy came out; so I'm unsure of the direct answer. You can always download the portable and extract it on top of your speccy install, just delete portable.dat from the folder. SIDE NOTE: Speccy is (depending how you look at it) either almost two years old or a little older than two. Congrats Speccy v1.01.132 (23 Apr 2010) - First full non-beta release. - Multi-language support added- note only English in this installer. - Save settings to INI added. - Standardized on sentence case for labels. - Improved large font support. - Lots of minor text tweaks and stability fixes.
