Moderators hazelnut Posted December 31, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 31, 2011 Looks like this is a new sort of tool to help with install/uninstall problems ( with a program that used the Microsoft Installer) similar to the old Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/en-us More info here http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2011/11/23/10241056.aspx Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
Moderators DennisD Posted December 31, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 31, 2011 I've just put that onto a flash drive to check out. Looks good. I have to say your "queen of the links" title is very very safe.
Super Fast
I also saved it to try out. Right now, I still use the older cleanup utility for MSI installer fixes. Thanks, Hazel!
eL_PuSHeR
Thanks Hazel. It's nice to have a lightweight portable version to test out.
login123
Nice one. Thank you. :-) The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers. John Grey
Is it possible that someone writes about those tests? I am using Advanced Uninstaller and I somehow have the feeling there might be something better out there... Thanks
Moderators DennisD Posted January 17, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 17, 2012 there might be something better out there... Hi John. Have you tried any of the following ... Revo Uninstaller: (Choose Freeware Version Option) ZSoft Uninstaller: (Install Tracker - Freeware) Total Uninstall 2.35: (Install Tracker - Last Freeware Version) All very good at what they do.
