Oh okay. Release notes for v20.0.1 https://www.mozilla....1/releasenotes/

I've noticed that since v20 I can't keep just my browsing history; If it's ticked, it'll also rememeber/keep download history (which I don't need to be remembered). :i

Is there some option in about:config to not to keep download history and only the browsing history?

Like I said, I don't want my download history to be saved/remembered. I do want my browsing history saved/remembered.

Nope. Easier to discuss about FF/Palemoon/Waterfox etc.

That UI is heading your way... eventually

It's been in development since at least last June, when I first heard about it. I don't think UX was a branch of Fx until November or so, though.

skin/theme-able?

Themes no, personas kind of. Nothing is really made for the new UI so most things break it. Even some addons like One Liner make it a little strange. I started it in safe mode just to show the vanilla UI

The builds are for testing! :)

UX has a relatively small user base, even compared to nightly

Massive drop in reported memory usage by AreWeSlimYet: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2701763&sid=f2a7a337cb02df31185563a86542aeb8

Potential bug, but if it turns out not to be, that's about a 100MB difference in ram consumption headed down the pipeline.

I gather 21 includes a new health report facility

Users of Firefox version 21.0 or later can examine their browser's current Health Report by accessing it from the Help menu. More controversially, however, the browser is also configured to periodically submit its usage information back to Mozilla by default.

That phoning-home behavior can be easily disabled via a switch on the report itself, but Mozilla Foundation Chair Mitchell Baker hopes most users will leave it on

I turned off the Health Report in Firefox Portable, because when you click to see info about it it just loads the Mozilla Privacy page which was enough of a clue to click OFF.

I leave it on, since from what I can tell about the data, it consists primarily of start times, addon count, and crash counts.

Of course the early stages of this new relationship are as innocent as your first approach to your new girlfriend whilst in her father's presence

What happens on your third date with Firefox when your only protection is in the details of the Mozilla Privacy Page :o

If you're a Facebook user or any other social site that has your picture with your name associated with it you have absolutely nothing to worry about privacy because you'll already be known in tons of advertisers databases, and possibly in government databases too.

Recent landings in Nightly (24.0a1) are showing some pretty nice memory utilization improvements (especially when closing tabs)

There's also GGC (Generational Garbage Collection) which is not enabled by default yet, but should provide "big wins" according to the memshrink blogger.

either way, exciting stuff in store for firefox in the coming months, I should think.

Perhaps, if they could only think of something more logical with the download manager. It's by far the most annoying in any current browser, and even the download manager in Chromium-based browsers which I initially hated are better in my opinion than Firefox.
