tehloxely
I have ccleaner run at a set time every night, and every morning my jumplist for gmail notifier is gone. I have to close and re-open the app to get it back. And I have the "Taskbar Jump Lists" unchecked.
Winapp2.ini
It may have something to do with cleaning internet history, perhaps? winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
tehloxely
I wouldn't even know. Maybe someone could look into this?
Moderators Nergal Posted December 6, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 6, 2011 the someone who needs to look into it is you We can walk you through procedure to find what it is, but it's you who needs to tell us which one. First of all Link us to the homepage of "gmail notifier" so that we can look at the program and where it places things ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. Winapp2.ini
All I can say is that Gmail Notifier is not cleaned by CCleaner or Winapp2.ini, so it must be an external cleaning entry mucking with it. Are any other programs' jumplists compromised? winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github

tehloxely
It's that program, just an updated one: http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1033601-gmail-notifier-plus-30-beta-1/ but beta2.
jnk_piriform
If I run c:\program files\ccleaner\ccleaner.exe without any options (and run the cleanup) my Jump List remains intact. If I run c:\program files\ccleaner\ccleaner.exe /AUTO, the items on my Jump List disappear. Seems like a bug to me ...
