albaby
Hello On Win 7, with cCleaner in the startup folder, upon startup, Win pops up the UAC every time I boot. How do I stop that? Dont want to have UAC off completely, I have it in position 2 (2nd weakest) Thanks Al
Moderators Nergal Posted December 2, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2011 Take ccleaner out of the startup folder. I doesn't need to be there. If you really want an auto clean at startup then you will have to deal with the UAC. Ccleaner needs elevated privialges to do it's job. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
