Moderators Andavari Posted October 27, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2011 If you want something you really need to be more clear, what you've posted leaves nothing but guessing. I'm assuming you want CCleaner to clean some program, guessing Windows Live Messenger.

CSGalloway
I use WLMessenger and the current version of CCleaner removes both the accounts and password for the program. What can be done about this? I am not sure if it's Server Passwords or one of the WL* enteries.

CSGalloway
It seems to work for me. Server passwords and the window Live enteries. think that would do what you want?

Moderators Nergal Posted October 31, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2011 Those are the smae registry entries Current user is the currently signed on user S-1-5-21-602162358-1979792683-839522115-1001 is an individual user (whom I'm going to postulate is the same user, s-* is where registry current_User lives when not current user also Why would you suppose that Live Contacts are Junk that should be cleaned this seems counter productive as . . . well you want your contacts. . . or at least most people do ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
