Tom AZ
In the CCleaner Language folder, who knows which numbered language dll is English??
Winapp2.ini
There is none, the default built in to the program is English. If you only use the English language, you can delete that folder entirely. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Moderators Andavari Posted October 1, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 1, 2011 You can even include the Lang folder into CCleaner's 'Options > Include' to have it remove all the non-English Lang files for you.

I would like to know if all applications language folders can be removed safely, with the exception of english? Also if anyone had removed the non english DLL's from various applications. I've noticed that MS uses language dll's for alot of their applications, with english being 1033.dll in some/most instances, is it safe to remove the others? Thanks in advance for your replies. -- NOTE: System is Windows XP SP3 - all updates applied...

No! It's really a trial by error as to what programs will let you nuke the lang files without causing a problem: * Some will function as usual like Piriform's software. * Some will completely refuse to function and you'll have to reinstall them. * Some will automatically download them again when you update such as some anti-malware/anti-virus.
