EricB
What is the meaning of the "*" character (asterick) at the end of the application name in the Applications tab? Thanks, Eric
Moderators Nergal Posted September 27, 2011 Moderators Share Posted September 27, 2011 Those are to differentiate entries from winapp2.ini (personal cleaning options extension file that you added to your CCleaner folder) from the built-into-CCleaner entries ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
