Defrag SLOW

Why does this seem odd to you? Defragging is quite hugely time consuming

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Verify Original Post (OS Win7/64),

this post means nothing. I have already given an answer which, honestly, is the best The op or anybody else is going to receive. Defragging slow, yes it is with any sort of defragger.

  • 3 weeks later...

11% defragmenting 61% for 2 hours, what's happening

Nergal is right. What's happening is you have a lot of files... 75.9 GB of them.

It will take time to defrag that many GB of files.

Even on a fast PC.

The files are having to be moved to another location.

Just run it overnight!
