Just been looking at this to see what the difference is. Here is the same webpage, the first link is the 'normal' one and the second link is for ease of use on a mobile. (notice the m instead of www)

A lot less things to load for your mobile.

Other sites have a link to click on the actual webpage to change it to a view suitable for a mobile.

Not really looked at this subject before. Do many of you use the mobile version of web pages on your mobile,or even on your pc or laptop ?

There's not much point browsing on mobile sites with a computer because they're optimised for small screen devices.

It can be useful if your computer is using a mobile connection because most sites have less images and therefore use less data.

The only time I had to avoid using a mobile site was dailymotion because the option to disable "family filter" was missing from their mobile touch site.

I've been using the mobile version of piriform forums, lunarsoft forums, facebook and any other site that opens up with the mobile version automatically on my phone for ages.

My whole day is spent using my phone for browsing these days, it is only in the evening that I get on my computer.
