The GUI version, "defraggler.exe" which opens the normal User Interface on double clicking, and the "command line" version, "df.exe" which can be launched from scripts. If you double click on df64.exe it will run and quit because it's not been told to do anything. This is why you need the DOS Prompt (cmd.exe) this allows you to interact with console applications. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Console_application Richard S.
