login123
Very nice, thank you. The Sandboxie cleaning feature is very handy. The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers. redhawk
"Unused file type" detection bug still present in v3.09 and thus still deleting valid registry keys. I won't be touching CCleaner or recommending it to anyone until this gets fixed. Richard S.

Moderators hazelnut Posted May 31, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 31, 2011 After downloading and installing, I can not delete the installation file where I downloaded to my desktop - get an error message: "You need permission to perform this action". Other installation files can be deleted without this problem. Suggestions? Vista? Windows 7? Try right-clicking on the file, go to Properties > Security > Advanced > Owner > Edit, then change the owner to Administrator and try deleting it then. Try renaming the file and then deleting it. Or try shift delete in safe mode. 'Unlocker' or 'MoveOnBoot' may also work. The MoveOnBoot program worked when I selected to delete the CCleaner installation program when I rebooted the computer. Thanks for the suggestions.
