Winapp2.ini additions

Winapp2.ini

Recommended Posts

InnoExtractor fixes for Winapp2.ini:

On Windows 2000 and XP systems, the default InnoExtractor install folder is %AppData%\InnoExtractor\

On Windows Vista, 7 and 8 systems, the default InnoExtractor install folder is %LocalAppData%\InnoExtractor\

Also, the application creates temporal files into %temp%\InnoExtractorCache\ folder when you make Zip packages or self-extracting modules of your Inno Setup installers.

So, the correct addition for InnoExtractor is the follow:

[innoExtractor*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\InnoExtractor\InnoExtractor.exe
DetectFile2=%AppData%\InnoExtractor\InnoExtractor.exe
Default=False
FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\InnoExtractor|Historial.dat
FileKey2=%AppData%\InnoExtractor|Historial.dat
FileKey3=%temp%\InnoExtractorCache|*.*|RECURSE

Best regards.

I recommend that the following codes be changed from LangSecRef=3025 to LangSecRef=3022 because they are Internet related.

[LocalService Cookies*]

[LocalService History*]

[LocalService Temporary Internet Files*]

[iETldCache*]

[NetworkService Cookies*]

[NetworkService History*]

[NetworkService Temporary Internet Files*]

[iE7pro*] probably should be changed from 3024 to 3022 as well.

Sorry for being a smart aleck.

I have a question too: rtmpGUI creates a file named .swfinfo under %UserProfile% but no registry entries or other files.

Maybe the rule can be like this?

[rtmpGUI .swfinfo*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%UserProfile%\.swfinfo
Default=False
FileKey1=%UserProfile%|.swfinfo

You're deleting your detect. try this

[VNCViewer 5]
LangSecRef=3024
Detect=HKCU\Software\RealVNC\vncviewer\
Default=False
RegKey1=HKCU\Software\RealVNC\vncviewer\MRU

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

Cleans a few things CCleaner doesn't with its Chrome cleaner.

[Comodo Dragon (More)*]
LangSecRef=3029
Detect=HKLM\Software\ComodoGroup\Dragon
Default=False
FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\COMODO|*.lock|RECURSE
FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\COMODO\Dragon\User Data\Default|Bookmarks.bak
FileKey3=%LocalAppData%\COMODO\Dragon\User Data\Default|Extension Cookies
FileKey4=%LocalAppData%\COMODO\Dragon\User Data\Default|Network Action Predictor-journal
FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\COMODO\Dragon\User Data\Default\Media Cache|*.*|RECURSE
FileKey6=%LocalAppData%\COMODO\Dragon\User Data\Default\Temp|*.*|RECURSE

For your specialized winapp2.ini file, it removes all non U.S. English language files.

[Comodo Dragon (Lang)*]
Section=Language Files
Default=False
Detect=HKLM\Software\ComodoGroup\Dragon
ExcludeKey1=FILE|%ProgramFiles%\Comodo\Dragon\locales\|en-US.pak
FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Comodo\Dragon\locales|*.pak

this is my file winapp2 and contains over 1000 entries. If you can put them in addition to all of them, or fix a bug that when ccleaner open the applications tab in the cleaning it takes a long time if the file is customized winapp2 and exceeds the predefined items ccleaner. Then it is always possible to insert the cleaning cleaning up files .Bcd of Easy BCD . let me know if all of these items will be useful for the next update of ccleaner :)

EDIT: This user has posted the version of Winapp2 included in the enchancing program. It was Identical to Community Verison. Poster asked me to remove this and the 19 posts that followed. He had only good thoughts in mind; he apologizes for the many Post notifications that many of you may have gotten. I have answered his slow load question in Private Message -NERGAL

New entry:

[Microsoft Project 2010*]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\MS Project
Default=False
RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\MS Project\Recent File List
RegKey2=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\MS Project\Recent Templates

[phase-6*]
LangSecRef=3021
DetectFile=%UserProfile%\.phase-6
Default=False
FileKey1=%UserProfile%\.phase-6|window-position.txt|REMOVESELF

[JDownloader*]
LangSecRef=3022
DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\JDownloader
Default=False
FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\JDownloader|updateLog.txt

The detect used for the other entries (Detect=HKLM\Software\JDownloader) will be deleted by CCleaner's Registry Cleaner (at least on my computer).

For the more advanced entries for power users:

List of permanently allowed IP ranges in Peerblock:

[Peerblock allowed IPs*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Peerblock
Default=False
FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Peerblock\lists|permallow.p2b

This will delete SumatraPDF settings but also the history (sorry that it is in german):

[sumatraPDF*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%AppData%\SumatraPDF
Default=False
FileKey1=%AppData%\SumatraPDF|sumatrapdfprefs.dat|REMOVESELF

I have some questions too:

1. How often is Winapp2.ini updatet (once per month or every some weeks or what)?

2. When will the advanced entries for power users come back?

It'll be back EVENTUALLY! but I need to figure out how I want to format it and make it clear it's meant to cherry pick from, not to use as an entire additional ini. I don't want people to use it and then come post here saying "what the heck, man, now my XYZ is gone!!!"

They wouldn't be able to complain, because we would've already deleted their lang files from their browser. :lol:
