Alan_B Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 New version of CCleaner just came out, when will Winapp2.ini? No hurries/worries, just asking. I see absolutely no urgency. The new version cleans more stuff with zero impact on what WinApp2.ini achieves, and the only possible improvement to WinApp2.ini is to remove any odd items which are now cleaned by the new version. Since 99% of all Winapp2.ini users are happy to accept that at least 90% of WinApp2.ini is useless bloat because they only have 10% of the applications installed, an extra 1% on top of 90% is not a priority. Exactly. I have a custom WinApp2.ini with only the entry's that apply to the programs i have. I would never use the full WinApp2.ini. Wouldn't make sense. Probably need to make sure the formatting is correct by using good ole Windows Notepad because more advanced text viewers/editors can fool you into thinking everything is ok when it isn't, I've been there and done that before!
