Just a comment/suggestion:

The last big overhaul merged many entries with duplicate FileKeys. Therefore, the entries count and file size was dramatically reduced. IMHO it would be wise to continue that.

The 3 new "ACDSee" entries could be merged with the 2 existing ones into one big entry, like the many other "versions independent" entries:

I don't use ACDSee, therefore I can't help much. You could probably add the following:

FileKeys
%AppData%\ACD Systems\ACDSee\Cache|*.*|RECURSE
%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files*\ACD Systems\ACDSee\6.0|InTouchErrorLog.txt

RegKeys
HKCU\Software\ACD Systems\PlugIns\InfoCache
HKCU\Software\ACD Systems\PlugIns\V2\InfoCache
(Warning: I don't know if those caches are needed. Please backup your registry before deleting!)

I will ask ACDSee support their suggestions or at least feedback on what you suggested....

All "ACDSee" entries had the same FileKeys. Therefore, we merged them into one big "versions independent" entry. (Please check the first two posts.)

[ACDSee Pro *], [ACDSee Standard *], [ACDSee Photo Studio Professional 2018 *], [ACDSee Photo Studio Standard 2018 *], [ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate 2018 *] = [ACDSee Photo Studio *]

It's used for decryption of DVDs. The folder "%AppData%\dvdcss" gets created by several Media Player or DVD Copy software.

I was just curious why in Winapp2.ini that LangSecRef=3001 or 3005 isn't used by Winapp2.ini for [Internet Explorer *] or [Microsoft Edge *] respectively.  I'm not suggesting a change as 3022 is also a good choice.

The LangSecRefs of winsys.ini unfortunately don't work with winapp2.ini.

Actually they do work in 5.40 but the entries appear as an additional section with the correct name and icon at the bottom of the applications tab.  I don't know if they work in all previous versions.  There are many people stuck at 5.26 since later versions of ccleaner don't work without an SSE2 processor.

@ Winapp2.ini - Been playing around with the Winapp2ool, coming along very nicely.  Suggestion, why not have the DIFF module output to a TXT file vs CONSOLE?

Look forward to this in the next release when it comes

Had never really considered it I guess  I'm fairly sure this was always an option though.

Thanks for the tip. I probably never checked the bottom of the applications tab!

Updates: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/72d630a8090fbcc6eab0db830bc4d215be94a521

So instead of just linking all the changes I have done to Winapp2, I will just link the changes that only effect what users have posted here. Of course, users should always update their copy of Winapp2 to get all the changes.

I am a maintainer for Winapp2. I also have a open-source group on Steam.

I believe the dvdcss folder is generated by applications that use libdvdcss

I do not understand how the users of Winapp2.ini are expected to know that when [ WDI Logs *] cleans these files, they need to restart their computer(s).  If the computer needs to be rebooted, then perhaps Winapp2.ini should not have [WDI logs*] included at all.

WDI logs is not the only entry in CCleaner or Winapp2.ini that requires system reboot.

WDI logs holds information about the started processes. Uninstalled programs traces stay there unless these logs are removed. Every known privacy cleaner wipes these traces.

Then why make a separate entry?  Just leave them in [Windows Logs *] and state that every time a person runs CCleaner, the system should be rebooted.  I would like to know what entries in CCleaner (unless you are referring the Advanced category) and Winapp2.ini require a system reboot because I am totally unaware of that requirement on certain entries.
