did you guys know that Winapp2.ini works for Bleachbit?

I knew and have been making my own cleaners for it, however according to the website it's best to use the preferred BleachBit format for making cleaners. One thing is it won't allow incorrectly/bad made winapp2.ini cleaners to work.

Lots of sensitive data here. It should be added into CCleaner.

Why would the mass public be interested in wiping out their WMP Playlists and DBs?

@winapp2 congrats on the 400th in this relativly new thread

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

Augh! Sorry guys, it was just pointed out to me that there was a small error in the file that deleted a file that shouldn't be (it gets regenerated though, so all is well, no need to panic :)) anyway, I've updated the file, and added some new entries to make up for it!

Methinks

[Nightly*]

DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\nightly

FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\nightly\updates|*.log

needs a better name than nightly (maybe Firefox Nightly ;) )

I can sort of understand databases, but playlists? :huh: I guess if you don't keep playlists.

I have got these entries from R-Wipe & Clean (http://www.r-wipe.com/).

CCleaner does not remove deleted Playlists from Windows Media Player. So basically there should be an option to remove deleted Playlists. And thats what this entry do in R-Wipe & Clean. It does not select itself. It gives you an option to choose the Playlists that you like to remove.

Thank you. I forgot to do that. :)

By the way PaintShop entry in CCleaner is useless. I guess paths need to be corrected.

The Corel one wont work unless you make the Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3 a header (put the name in [brackets] like the others)

Otherwise, it's just seen as an extension of the previous entry.

I know thats not perfekt but i dont know the shortcuts for win 7 ^^

I'd suggest to add some list e.g into the info header.

HKCU - HKEY_CURRENT_USER

HKLM - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

HKU - HKEY_USERS

| - the pipe symbol is used to separate file mask options.

*.* - deletes every file in that folder. Example: %ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles|*.*

RECURSE - deletes subfolders and their contents. Example: "%ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles|*.*|RECURSE" (The "Profiles" folder contents will be deleted, but the folder itself will not)

REMOVESELF - is the same as RECURSE but it deletes the folder as well. Example: "%ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles|*.*|REMOVESELF" (The "Profiles" folder will be deleted)

*.<extension> - deletes all files in the folder with the stated extension. Example: *.LOG

and a list with all shortcuts for paths with description.
