Winapp2.ini additions

Winapp2.ini

Recommended Posts

Thanks saad!

I created a custom skin for winapp2.ini editing in Notepad++

http://dl.dropbox.co...386/winapp2.xml

import it from the language maker

select langauge winapp from the language list.

It works on a dark background

Here's my view

Just thought I'd share it for anyone else who'd like to use it. :)

Very nice. Thank you. :)

Could you please replace the Internet Explorer More entry with the one listed here and try it. I don't have a XP system to try it.

[internet Explorer More*]

LangSecRef=3022

DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

Default=False

FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\Last Active|*.*|RECURSE

FileKey2=%LocalLowAppData%\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\Content|*.*

FileKey3=%LocalLowAppData%\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\MetaData|*.*

FileKey4=%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\UserData|*.*|RECURSE

RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International|CNum_CpCache

RegKey2=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International|CpCache

RegKey3=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International\CpMRU

RegKey4=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore

RegKey5=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\PageSetup

RegKey6=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\PendingDelete

Basically I have provided this entry but, someone added the lines listed below into this entry.

FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer|brndlog.*

FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer|*iconcache.dat

FileKey3=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\iconcache|*.*|REMOVESELF

Your awesome, this totally fixed it. Internet Explorer More* causes no more problems. I guess it was iconcache causing the problems?

The next version of Winapp2.ini will have at minimum 700 entries! A year ago, v.1.0.110108 had 449 entries!

two months before that,

; Version: v1.0 build 101104

had 344 entries. We're now more than double the number of entries in just 14 months, and that's not counting the many that have been removed (included in CCleaner) or combined into eachother over time.

Great job everyone, really :)

FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\sabnzbd\logs|sabnzbd.log
FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\sabnzbd\admin|history1.db
FileKey3=%LocalAppData%\sabnzbd\admin|totals9.sab

Updated! Changes in the first post (lots of them!)

Thank you very much. Everything looks fine. It must be a lot of work for you this time.

Could you please modify the entries listed below in the next release of Winapp2.ini file.

There were two DetectFiles in this entry. I think one detectfile is sufficient. Also added another RegKey..

[FastStone Capture*]

LangSecRef=3024

DetectFile=%Program Files%\FastStone Capture\FSCapture.exe

Default=False

FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\FastStone\FSC\EditWith|*.*

FileKey2=%AppData%\FastStone\FSC|*.bak

RegKey1=HKCU\Software\FastStone\APP.FSRecorder\Global|_GrbId

RegKey2=HKCU\Software\FastStone\APP.FSRecorder\Global|_LastClipPlayed

RegKey3=HKCU\Software\FastStone\APP.FSRecorder\Global|_LastRecordingFileName

[internet Explorer More*]

LangSecRef=3022

DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

Default=False

FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\Last Active|*.*|RECURSE

FileKey2=%LocalLowAppData%\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\Content|*.*

FileKey3=%LocalLowAppData%\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\MetaData|*.*

FileKey4=%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\UserData|*.*|RECURSE

RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International|CNum_CpCache

RegKey2=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International|CpCache

RegKey3=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International\CpMRU

RegKey4=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore

RegKey5=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\PageSetup

RegKey6=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\PendingDelete

Removed the lines listed below since Miroku4444 was having an issue after removing these files.

http://forum.pirifor...ndpost&p=208851

%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer|brndlog.*

%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer|*iconcache.dat

%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\iconcache|*.*|REMOVESELF

NEW ENTRIES

[iTunes Cache*]

LangSecRef=3023

DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\iTunes\iTunes.exe

Default=False

FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Apple Computer\iTunes|Cache.db

[CyberLink Install Temps*]

LangSecRef=3023

DetectFile=%CommonAppData%\install_clap

Default=False

FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\install_clap|*.*|REMOVESELF

[TEMP folder*]

LangSecRef=3025

DetectFile=%CommonAppData%\TEMP

Default=False

FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\TEMP|*.*|RECURSE

The TEMP folder entry is good for Windows Vista and Windows 7. CyberLink programs leave some temporary installation files here.

Passing this along from the bleachbit forums

Modified

[batman Arkham Asylum*]
LangSecRef=3021
DetectFile=%Documents%\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\
Default=False
FileKey1=%Documents%\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\BmGame|*.log|RECURSE

It was "Detect=%Documents%\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\"

As detect it was causing an error in bleachbit.

Thanks for this very useful "winapp2.ini" file. I think a few entries need a warning message:

[Remote Desktop Connection More*]

Warning=This will reset all Remote Desktop Connection settings.

[Windows 7 ShellBags*] and [Windows XP ShellBags*]

Warning=This will delete window size, window position and view setting of all folders.

Maybe you can include them in the next release.

FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\.elfohilfe|*.*|REMOVESELF

[MS Office Help Cache*]

They work flawless on my system (Windows 7 x64).

Maybe you can add these too: http://forum.pirifor...ndpost&p=208541

Arg, those entries with strange unix encoding. Windows Notepad doesn't like it! D:.

I've fixed them though, near as I can tell. I did a search for them.

?????

what is this in reply to? (if it was to my post above, that's not the ini that's the forum software)

CORRECTED ENTRY

[iTunes Logs*]

LangSecRef=3023

DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\iTunes\iTunes.exe

Default=False

FileKey1=%AppData%\Apple Computer\Logs|*.crash|RECURSE

FileKey2=%AppData%\Apple Computer\Logs|*.log|RECURSE

FileKey3=%WinDir%\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs|*.log|RECURSE

Corrected the highlighted area from *.* to *.log|RECURSE

It used be like this.

Thanks! The only effect I recognize is that the help window needs a little bit longer to show up. But I use the help windows very rarely, so this doesn't bother me.
