Winapp2.ini
2) makes the file smaller in MB, then I'm for it. I think piriform implementing colon delimiting for RegKeys (the way FileKeys are) would have the most dramatic effect on the file size one can dream (my math suggests this change, if implemented in winapp.ini would save ~23KB - not a lot but huge when considering how much ccleaner gets downloaded - and not all filekeys are delimited this way either so there's room for more!) winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github

SMalik
The entries listed below should be removed. The reasons are listed under each entry.[Aiseesoft Studio Logs*]There is no such program with this name that exists and because of Detect=HKCU\Software\Aiseesoft Studio, it conflicts with current [Aiseesoft Media Converter Ultimate*] entry. ROCKNROLL
Still the same. Also it's saying that 'MORE' is not recognized as an internal or external command upon starting the trim.bat. Try what dvdbane said. If none of those work, make sure you are not running CCleaner (even in background, check task manager to make sure) and make sure to run trim.bat as admin rights. If none of those work, try running it under safe mode. That has sometimes helped for me. I tried this as well. I made sure that CCleaner is not running even on background. I also made sure that I give admins rights to the bat file (cause the trim.bat warns if you don't). However I haven't tried running it on safe mode. I'll try it later today and report back if it works. Thanks.
SMalik
What about this other one (don't remember if you created it or not), just wondering that's all: [Cached Shell Extensions*] It's not cache. It removes valid file extensions. I think it explains itself. If someone has CCleaner Professional and uses one user account to clean all user accounts on the machine, it deletes all valid file extensions from the user accounts that are not logged in. Also, even if someone has CCleaner Free edition with one use account and runs CCleaner in Safe Mode, it still removes all valid file extensions. In normal mode, CCleaner won't remove file extensions because the user hive is in use.
