Seems you forgot again to change this entry in [MS IE6 Installation Temps*]:

DetectFile2=%WinDir%|msdownld.tmp

to:

DetectFile2=%WinDir%\msdownld.tmp

And here is an issue with deleting log files in [Logs*] for Google Chrome:

For extensions that manage localstorage from chrome's localstorage API as you can see here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17774857/where-is-chrome-extensions-chrome-storage-local-data-saved, the localstoage is recorded in a .log file in "User Data\*\Local Extension Settings" so in order to delete .log files you'll have to add some exclude keys for extensions and apps paths like this:

ExcludeKey1=PATH|%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\*\Local Extension Settings\|*.*
ExcludeKey2=PATH|%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\*\Local App Settings\|*.*

It depends what version of JDownloader you have - if JDownloader1 there will bw no %LocalAppData%\JDownloader*2*\ folder but if you have JDownloader 2 you wil have %LocalAppData%\JDownloader*2*\ .....

I don't think OS version even matters here...  just program version....

(and other missed entries) - Whoops! Bit scatter brained last night, hehe.

I assume the entries I re-posted that Neverbloom had were denied/already included in CCleaner?

I included some of them (or added them to existing entries where applicable) but a lot of them wanted to do RECURSE from the rootdir which is a bit of a no-no speed wise

I contacted JDownloader support and sent the rules for comment; this is what he replied:

ProgramFiles%\JDownloader\.junique <<--- do not remove as it will destroy *instance* detection. can lead to starting jdownloader twice

 Program Files*\JDownloader\captchas <<<-- should be clean, no need to remove (only in case when jd crashes, files might be left)

 log folder does clean itself (only keeps last x items) and no logs -> hard to help in case of problems

 tmp folder -> will cause longer start times as jdownloader needs to create plugin cache again and again

Thanks for the update.

You forgot to modify the one listed below. It is completely safe. Most of the privacy eraser programs use this way.

There is an issue I am facing when it comes to the Documents folder, is %documents% a valid environment variable in CCleaner? As it's not in Windows 8.1. Therefore %Documents%\Visual Studio 2012 and such like are not destroyed as one would expect.

Edit: Strange, now it works!

jd2 does not force install to %localappdata% %appdata (for xp) (advanced setting to change defaults), though it is our default and preferred install path. Installing to program files paths can have implications for users that do not have admin privileges.

My files in JD2 entry not on %localappdata% why ? I don't know...

Getting it on my system, even though I don't use Inno.

Seems to me the detect and clean of that entry looks super aggressive

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

from the thread given by @SMalik http://news.jrsoftware.org/news/innosetup/msg97204.html

{usercf} expands to the "Common" subfolder of this path by default, so any script using this explicitly will of course use that path. But AFAIK this cannot occur automatically -- it requires the script author to explicitly choose to use it. (And being a {user*} path, it should go without saying that it should not be used unless the install is PrivilegesRequired=lowest.)

might be better to put Warning

MassTube (popular video downloader program) candidate for Winapp2.ini:

[MassTube*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\MassTube\MassTube.exe
DetectFile2=%AppData%\MassTube\MassTube.exe
DetectFile3=%ProgramFiles%\MassTube\MassTube.exe
DetectFile4=%SystemDrive%\Programs\MassTube\MassTube.exe

FileKey7=%AppData%\MassTube\Miniaturas|*.jpg
FileKey8=%ProgramFiles%\MassTube\Miniaturas|*.jpg

If "Historial.dat" is deleted, the .jpg image files found in "Miniaturas" folder (video thumbnails linked for Historial.dat) is not necessary so also can be deleted.

So result for JD2:

JD2 installer use the %LocalAppData%\JDownloader*2*\ as default install path... but use the <InstallFolder>\cfg for Usersettings....

When you change the Installpath you have to change all.... :-(

For me its it a big logic error to put an whole Programm in %localappdata%
JD put every time the usersettings in %installpath%..... Its Portable... OK but wrong in localappdata.

But I'm not sure that all installer versions from JD2 Install default to %LocalAppData%.... The last do it!

Found a problem, it's a minor one, and it probably possibly affects only a tiny portion of the users, but anyway.

It's with ASUS ai suite 2, here's the entry:

[ASUS AI Suite*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\ASUS\AI Suite*
Default=False
FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\ASUS\AI Suite*|*.log;*log*.*|RECURSE
FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files*\ASUS\AI Suite*|*.log;*log*.*|RECURSE
FileKey3=%SystemDrive%|wifi.log

So it seems it's only looking for log files, yet for some reason it's deleting a lot of png files that are required for the software to run:

2q8u5w4.jpg

had to reinstall the damn thing twice already ;P before I found out it was ccleaner that was getting rid of those pngs.
