[Thunderbird Net Predictions*]

SpecialDetect=DET_MOZILLA
Default=False
FileKey1=%AppData%\Thunderbird\Profiles\*|seer.sqlite;netpredictions.sqlite

should be SpecialDetect=DET_THUNDERBIRD

[bugsplat*] is showing up even though I do not have any games installed.  I have included the exported registry branch here.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bugsplat]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bugsplat\Pando_Win]

I know Pando is not active any more but I would lik a better fix then just removing the above keys...

Also the "RegKey3=HKCU\Software\Bugsplat\Pando_win\Pando" item could be removed or placed in another winapp2.ini entry.

What is the winapp2.ini that changes the Win 7 background wallpaper to be centered - not "fit" ?  Also could a warning be made to whatever entry this would involve please?

Would like an entry to fully remove Pando - since it's not valid anymore please.

[Pando Full Removal*]

Warning=Please only use this entry after removing Pando using Control Panel

Default=False

I used jv16 Powertools 2014 to search for Pando and exported the list, which is attached.

PandoReg.txt

I've noticed Bugsplat showing up on machines that don't seem to have games installed in the past, haven't quite figured out what uses Bugsplat other that League of Legends though.

Hi again. Can someone edit these entries for me in winapp2. They should go like this:

[Clam Sentinel*]

LangSecRef=3021

Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{060FE577-1BDF-4330-ACCA-B6760AB07191}_is1

Default=False

FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF

FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\ClamSentinel|*.txt

[ClamWin*]

LangSecRef=3021

Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\ClamWin

Default=False

FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF

FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\ClamWin\bin|*.txt

I wrote these entries for the latest releases at the time of posting:

[Clam Sentinel**]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{060FE577-1BDF-4330-ACCA-B6760AB07191}_is1
Default=False
FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF
FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\ClamSentinel|*.txt

[ClamWin**]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\ClamWin
Default=False
FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF
FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\ClamWin\bin|*.txt

Somehow %AllUsersProfile% has been replaced with %CommonAppData% in Winapp2.ini

The original posting is correct; There are no files at %CommonAppData%.

I rewrote that because you had CommonAppData and it failed to delete the ones in AppData, atleast on my system. Also, I don't even have anything called CommonAppData on my system. Is that something new in windows 8 or something?

EDIT: On my system, I dont have anything called CommonAppData. If yours is different, then yes you can add both file keys. I reedited it because mine seems to be different.

EDIT2: Interesting, but ClamSentinel is still wrong. You have a duplicate filekey with ClamWin, as you can see. The ClamSentinel log file is located in ClamSentinel foldier not in .clamwin. The way I had it before for ClamSentinel was correct. It should be %AllUsersProfile%\ClamSentinel|*.txt.

I get it now...

I was looking at the entries in the Winapp2.ini release.

Not realizing it had been altered from %AllUsersProfile% to the incorrect %CommonAppData%

In the changelog and on my PC it is as originally posted and is the correct entry

ClamSentinel is wrong. ClamWin FileKey1 is the exact same as ClamSentinel FileKey1. Also something still isn't right. Mine is not in All Users, its in AppData. Why don't we put it like this:

[Clam Sentinel**]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{060FE577-1BDF-4330-ACCA-B6760AB07191}_is1
Default=False
FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\ClamSentinel|*.txt
FileKey2=%AppData%\ClamSentinel|*.txt

FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\ClamSentinel|*.txt

[ClamWin**]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\ClamWin
Default=False
FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF
FileKey2=%AppData%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF

FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\ClamWin\bin|*.txt

Also, Why did you put 2 stars by the names? Shouldn't it just be one?

EDIT: Ah ok, I see what is going on here. During the setup of these 2 programs you have a choice to install just for you or for anyone. I decided to install just for myself so thus my log files are installed in AppData and not in All Users, so the way I have it is correct you need all 3 keys.

[ClamWin*]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\ClamWin
Default=False
FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF
FileKey2=%AppData%\.clamwin\log|*.*|REMOVESELF
FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\ClamWin\bin|*.txt

Looks good. Win 7 and XP must use differnet locations.

But I don't understand your FileKey1 and 2 below. Do you have .txt files in either of those locations?

[Clam Sentinel**]

LangSecRef=3021

Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{060FE577-1BDF-4330-ACCA-B6760AB07191}_is1

Default=False

FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\ClamSentinel|*.txt

FileKey2=%AppData%\ClamSentinel|*.txt

FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\ClamSentinel|*.txt

Ignore the 2 stars... don't remember who, but another member uses two instead of one to denote their own entries.

I liked the idea and use it now also.

It slipped through.

%AllUsersProfile% and %CommonAppData% point the same folder, at least on Windows 7 and 8. It should also be the same folder on Windows XP but I've never tested it with XP.

Edit: For clarity, I'm referring to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ for XP, not C:\ProgramData\

On my XP PC...

%AllUsersProfile% is:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users

%CommonAppData% is:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

Maybe it's time I did an upgrade or time to go to bed. Probably both.
