mulle78 Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Hi, the CCleaner in the current version shows the file size of the erasing file for a GB volume and a GB size in MB, I mean: CC cleaner means, the file is 2,5MB, but the file is 2,5GB. Some of my favorite programs: Wordpad -basic word processing Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE. mulle78 Posted April 3, 2011 Author Share Posted April 3, 2011 It ist the by ccleaner generated file for the wiping process for the free space on a volume. ccleaner shows the wrong unit in the status bar during the wipe proccess; after the MFT wiping. Hulk Posted April 4, 2011 Share Posted April 4, 2011 Hi, I'm not German but doesn't German Regional settings specify comma (,) as a decimal separator and period (.) as thousands separator which in this case would mean 15 809MB as in 15 thousand MB ~ 14 GB?
