My neighbours son has just been hit with the fake "MS Removal Tool" rogue. This one wasn't difficult to remove, but he was completely taken in by it, and it was his good old dad stopped him buying the software. It sounds very similar to "Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool", which is legitimate.
