jordanx Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Hi, I noticed that speccy is still erroneously detecting DDR2 ram as DDR3 ram on my intel atom dm510 motherboard, with DDR2 667mhz ram installed. It correctly IDs the speed and latency and bank usage, as well as what channel mode its operating at. Whats even more weird, is that when u drill down in the slots section, it "correctly" IDs DDR2 ! Excerpt of speccy output: 2.0GB Single-Channel DDR3 (5-5-5-15) Slot #1 Type DDR2 Size 1024 MBytes Manufacturer Corsair Max Bandwidth PC2-5300 (333 MHz) Part Number CM2X1024-5400C4 etc, etc, etc Perhaps thats something you may want to look into.
