Favah
Hello Speccy forums! (First post, yeay!) So I recently installed Speccy 1.08 to see what kind of graphics card I was using when I noticed my Motherboard's temperature was very high at 90?C . My experience understanding what this meant is quite lacking so I did a quick Google search to see if this was normal and got a few different results that left me only more confused than before. I've attached a screenshot hoping to get some help as to what to do, or if this is "Within normal range" just a confirmation to help quell my anxieties of my computer suddenly bursting into flames. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me, and apologies if I should have posted this in the "Hardware" forums instead. -Favah
kroozer
You're showing 38?C for CPU, so 90?C mobo is likely the reading from a no signal situation. It's like if you unplug your automobile fuel tank or oil pressure sensor, you will see either a max or minimum reading. A truly 90?C mobo would radiate heat into the CPU and HDD, and their temps would be much higher.
