rabbit
Anyone out there have new enough hardware to be using USB 3.0? I would like to hear real users experience with external hard drives and systems/motherboards that make use of the new standard. I read that speed is much faster, but often those are tests w/o the overhead/load that is in use with real users. Thanks

However as you said only a few Motherboards have it and no hardware really exisits yet The USB 3.0 Promoter Group announced on November 17, 2008, that version 3.0 of the specification had been completed and had made the transition to the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF), the managing body of USB specifications.[65] This move effectively opened the specification to hardware developers for implementation in future products. The first certified USB 3.0 consumer products were announced January 5, 2010, at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including two motherboards by ASUS and Gigabyte Technology Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usb_3.0#USB_3.0 however there is some http://www.belkin.com/pressroom/releases/uploads/02_23_10USB3dot0.html http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=11495 http://www.amazon.com/Asus-U3S6-True-Support-Motherboard/dp/B002VVQ58M ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
