ishan_rulz
I always used to listen to only .mp3 and decided to give FLAC a try... and Hallelujah! Its so damn amazzing. I wish the file size wasn't so big as I have a 64 gig iPod and with the current MP3s, it takes about 53 gigs. FLAC would kill it. So, yeah, anyone here, being an audiophile who has not tried FLAC, please DO give it a try! Simplicity is hard.
Moderators Andavari Posted June 2, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 2, 2010 I've used lossless for years when archiving onto DVDs, I started with WavPack, then moved to FLAC about four or five years ago. Currently my hard disks are too small and running out of space to store lossless audio on them, however that will be rectified with my next system as putting any money into this now ancient 2003 Dell isn't going to happen. Note that it's not .flac but instead FLAC, as some OSes could care less about file extensions.
Winapp2.ini
Also your little iPod doesn't support FLAC to my knowledge. :-) winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
