Eli
Hi Say for example I downloaded a new program today, and later on, I restored the registry back to yesterday with ERUNT, what happens with the AM program, will it still exist but WIN will not be able to recognize it? Thanks OS : MS windows XP pro sp3 Processor : AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual core 3800, 2009Mhz.Mother board : Gygabyte M61 PM-S2 Ram : 3GBDisk space : 649.05 GB Default browser: FirefoxProtection : Sandboxie, MBam free version
fireryone
The files for the program will still exist on the PC just the registry is restored. Wether or not windows will recognize it will depend if the program relies on registry entries to work. If you are wanting the program to work its best to reinstall it. If not, try the uninstaller for the program, then delete the program from program files. fireryone

So to understand you correctly, you are saying that if I have a program that had a egistry entry I`ll have to uninstall/reinstall . Is that correct? ident
I would think erunt would erase the newly installed applications entrys. Since it is a complete restore and not just appends to the registry. Just reinstall the application if you are concerned or functionality is not correct No fate but what we make
