text files in root folder?

das

Recommended Posts

I've just installed crapcleaner 1.24.180, hit the analyze button and it seems to want to delete the text files in my root folder, as they are definately not junk, (actually notes about problems on other peoples computers) I dont want them removed. my question is why would you want the text files in the root folder deleted and which tick box do I tick to stop it.(I've tried a few)

thanks

"Perhaps CCleaner is seeing them as some Windows logs."

If CCleaner is wanting to remove them you may be better and safer off moving the files into their own unique folder. Also any important files you have it's a wise decision to have backups in for example the ZIP archive format, etc.
