outpost question

Did you check the Help File?

  • There are three startup modes:

  • Normal (loads Outpost Firewall automatically at boot-up and displays its icon in the System Tray).

  • Background (Outpost Firewall will run in invisible mode, without its system tray icon or any of its dialog windows).

  • Disable (Outpost Firewall will not run automatically at startup).

    Note
Background mode is provided for two reasons: to save system resources and for a parent or Systems Administrator to block unwanted traffic or content in a way that's completely hidden from a user.
