F-4 Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 This is probably going to turn out to be a stupid question, but I have not been able to find the answer in CCleaner documentation. Is the Windows XP Memory Paging File, called pagefile.sys and normally located in the C:\ root directory, wiped by CCleaner ?? If so, where is it included? -- as part of the Cleaner > Windows > Advanced > Free Space wipe? -- as part of the Cleaner > Windows > System > Temporary Files? -- or someplace else I haven't recognized? Tarq57 Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 The pagefile (or swap file) is used by the OS and rebuilt at every system boot.
