cnm
I often run Defraggler just to have a look at the state of the disk. I notice that when I exit after Analysis the memory is not released. If I do this several times (Analyze, no Defrag, exit), the Commit Charge in Task Manager grows and grows.
Moderators hazelnut Posted September 28, 2009 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2009 Could you say which operating system you use and which version of defraggler please. Anyone else noticed this? cnm
Windows XP Pro SP3 Defraggler v1.13.155 I have found it easy to duplicate. Incidentally it doesn't happen if I simply load Defraggler and then exit. Only holds on to memory if I do Analyze.
