Fluffy
Hi Does anyone know of any free software for mixing music tracks etc ? I would like to make my own cd(personal use) of favourite tracks that i can blend in with each other and have no pauses etc
Tom AZ
You could check out Audacity. I haven't used it myself, but it seems to get pretty good press.
Moderators Andavari Posted August 20, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2009 Sounds like you need something with cross fading like what Winamp can do on playback. Don't know about doing this as an output to a burnable audio CD though, then there's the issue of having to edit out nearly all of the silence beforehand. Fluffy
Thanks for the feedback guys, I think I will have a go at Audacity ,Tom, it will have to be a project to learn as I go along ! I think I need a newbie course in music jargon !! Cheers I`ll update when I have my own cd done !!
Moderators Andavari Posted August 21, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2009 Also don't forget about another small free audio editor called Wavosaur which can use VST plugins.
