abyssunderground Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 Hello, I recently defragged one of my drives and I'd like to know if anyone can explain why it looks like this? By this I am talking about the free space blocks throughout the drive at regular intervals. The drive is a Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB. jawz101 Posted August 27, 2009 Share Posted August 27, 2009 that's windows defragmenter allocating more space so that it allows files to grow with intentions of mitigating fragmented files.
