TheBiff
Is there anyway to have CCleaner Portable run (preferably using the AUTO switch) and then generate a log file with what was cleaned. Also as a 2nd question, I looked a while back and I am sure it is the same now, but is there a switch that will auto clean the registry??? Thanks for the great help, strong community, and steller product.
Moderators hazelnut Posted May 15, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 15, 2009 Thanks for the great help, strong community, and steller product. Remarks like that will always get you an answer I don't know of a way with the auto switch but in normal mode you could always click on the list after analysing and select save to text file. Depending how long it is since your last clean this could be the size of a telephone book!! Auto cleaning of the registry is not an option as it is considered too important of an area to be cleaned without a user present. TheBiff
Thanks for the fast reply. I know about going into the program and having it generate a log file, but if there was a way to have it auto log then that would be the tops. The reason I ask for the auto log is because I make a lot of different batch files and having it create a log file to a directory would be a nice feature. If it is something that can not be done, then that is that. I am happy with CCleaner and use it a lot, beggars can not be choosers.
