Moderators Andavari Posted April 25, 2009 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2009 Maybe something to plague old Win9x systems with their limited memory. In my opinion any WinXP system or newer with enough memory it shouldn't be so noticeable to be an issue. Although 50 shortcuts would be rather unsightly. Corona
Thus the My Documents folder. And/or the Start menu. Why flood the pretty with mundane icons?
abu aufa
Hi Somehow I`m under the impression that too many(about 50) icons on the desktop can prolong boot time,M`I right? Thanks I've seen your spec is fast. One thing to try though is to create a folder on your desktop and move all your icons there. More specifically, when you log into Windows , icons are redrawn several times while your desktop is initialy loading.
