Rorschach112
Two things you should do Your using an old version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, this can leave your pc open to vulnerabilities, you can update it here : http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html Please download JavaRa to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions. Accept any prompts. Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates. Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button. Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer. Moderators Andavari Posted March 20, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 20, 2009 You can look into PC Decrapifier. Do note that removing software is a personal choice, just because CCleaner lists software that it can initiate the uninstall of doesn't mean you should or have to uninstall it. Do note that removing software is a personal choice, just because CCleaner lists software that it can initiate the uninstall of doesn't mean you should or have to uninstall it. I know that, but I never bothered to uninstall stuff preinstalled on the PC.
Moderators DennisD Posted March 20, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 20, 2009 I think the best thing you could do, and be prepared to spend some time with this, is to start with all the third party software you have, but don't particularly need. For example, I cleared all Sonic stuff from my PC, and replaced it with Freeware alternatives that were better, and less bloated. But with each program, you would probably need to google for information. An example is one in your list called Sonic DLA. Here are the results of googling "Sonic DLA": http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&...-8&oe=utf-8 And from the first in that list some pretty pertinent information in the 2nd post on that page. Sonic Solutions DLA: As you can see, some software has to be uninstalled using a "Removal Tool". One of the best examples of this is Antivirus software. Norton in particular must be removed with the correct Removal Tool. To just give you a list of what we thought were useless programs on your PC would probably do you more harm than good. And if you do start to remove programs, don't remove them one after another. Make sure the removal of one isn't causing any issues before you embark on the next. With anything particularly large or complex, make a System Restore point before uninstalling, in case you get a problem. Hope that helps.

Aethec
Download the Secunia Personal Software Inspector here : http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ and then scan your computer. You can use the Simple interface (just click "Scan" and look at the results) or the Advanced interface, better but a little harder. It will not help you to remove things, but to update them....Things like "QuickTime 3.0" or "XP SP2" are old. And have lots of security vulnerabilities.
