Wagner
It should show it in "All Programs". Click the start button > all programs > look for Norton. The windows deleted the name of the norton of the listed programs on my first trying, but I found a document of text with 2007.
Jamin4u
The windows deleted the name of the norton of the listed programs on my first trying, but I found a document of text with 2007. If you already uninstalled the program using Windows, could you explain what you are trying to do? I'm sure there is much leftover on your machine. You can try re-installing and then running the Norton Removal tool. I don't think you can run the tool, if you already ran the Norton program uninstaller through Windows. Since Norton was installed on your computer when you bought it, you may not be able to install it again without a key for the program. Update: You may be able to run the Norton Removal Tool even after you already uninstalled it. If the product is currently not installed on your computer, check the Product Key at the back of the CD sleeve, or in the confirmation email that you received from Symantec for your download purchase. Once you write down the Product Key, go to STEP 3. You don't need the key if you aren't going the reinstall Norton. davey
I am trying to uninstall the norton that came inside my equipment, but the Add/Remove function of the Windows made only part of the service. What I do? Hello Wagner, Welcome In addition to what Jamin4u has provided there is also a later version that I used recently. I have used 2 or 3 versions but this latest removed even more. See this thread. It is short. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showto...amp;entry117611 Good luck, davey edit P.S. Looks like the version may be the same one that you have already used. If or when they come out with a newer version than I will probably run that one also. I never noticed any slow downs or problems being caused after I used any of their Removal tools. The tool has been improved over time and continues to remove more leftovers. I would just rely on their tool and leave the Registry alone. This latest version is the best one yet. P.S. By Jamin4u request, I do want to confirm that this tool can be used after Norton has been uninstalled. I uninstalled Norton about a year ago and have successfully used the updated tool at least twice since then with no problems. The tool removed remnants that had not been removed by prior versions. Anthony A
I can't believe Norton hasn't been exterminated yet. That company should die with GM.

I had made a windows and revo uninstaller mix to remove this norton and did not resolve, now I think worked, but I am testing the system because I had to re-install my mini modem software. I intend to install a new set of security softwares. Thanks
Jamin4u
Are you going to try the Norton Removal Tool? The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2009/2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products, Norton 360 and Norton SystemWorks 12.0 from your computer. If you use ACT! or WinFAX, back up those databases before you proceed. Online Documentation...CCleaner
