davey
thanks Hello cartel, You have some bits of yahoo at the least. Are you sure it is not just turned off ? This is what is checked and cleaned from the Embedded winapp.ini file . [Yahoo Toolbar] LangSecRef=3022 Detect=HKCU\Software\Yahoo\Companion Default=True RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Yahoo\Companion\SearchHistory I would try uninstalling before deleting any thing but that is up to you. davey Gobble is your friend. Try "yahoo toolbar uninstall". Edited November 27, 2008 by davey
Moderators Andavari Posted November 27, 2008 Moderators Share Posted November 27, 2008 Many programs that have an opt-out to not install Yahoo Toolbar will still install a Yahoo Toolbar registry key, even though you've opted to not install the software. Weird but true.
