lobes
Hi everyone, just came across CCleaner and am very impressed I just wanted to check if this is normal. I close down IE and run CCleaner, everything seems to clear and I exit the program. However, if I then click on the History icon in IE, the sites visited info is still there and I have to delete them manually. Is that correct or am I missing something? Thanks (Win Xp SP2)

Moderators Andavari Posted July 18, 2005 Moderators Share Posted July 18, 2005 Perhaps it has something to do with the index.dat files. Run CCleaner then reboot, then see if the history list is still there.

bbaddog
I'm having the exact same problem. I've reinstalled but that didn't help. I did reboot and that cleared history but the next time I cleaned the history was not removed.
