arp-cache is a Uninstaller Reference Issue ?

Recommended Posts

I wonder why CCleaner shows some ARP Cache entries in registry cleaner which are shown as Uninstaller Reference Issues.

This is an example:

Uninstaller Reference Issue {7C3E3706-8FBD-4169-9726-0A47FBF9D32A} HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows

\CurrentVersion\App Management\ARPCache\{7C3E3706-8FBD-4169-9726-0A47FBF9D32A}

What has arp cache to do with a uninstaller? I don't see any relation. :unsure:

Not too sure about this andreasm, but I think in this case 'ARPcache' may stand for Add/Remove Programs and not the networking 'ARP cache' that we would think it does. The numbers after it may be the program reference.
