Can Drive 55
I downloaded and installed the new version 1.03.093 today and it does not recognize any drive but the C drive and the floppy drive. I have 2 more drives that it does not show in the drive display area. The previous version did recognize the other drives. Is this a normal function of the latest version? If so, what would be the problem with re-installing the first version? Are there any features in the new version that I would be missing? Thanks. defragtester
I have the same problem with the new version 1.03.093 only recognizes drive c: and the read card drive, no recognize external usb hard drive. The only way defraggler recognize the external hard drive is if you run first defraggler and after that turn on the external hard drive. I think is kind a problem that wasn't before. Whiteshark
Can't confirm on Windows XP SP3. My system have an internal disk with 3 partitions C: D: G: and an external USB drive with partitions H: I:. All them are detected, analyzed and defragged without any problem, as usual. Doesn't make any difference starting Defraggler before/after connect the external USB, here. Can Drive 55
To clarify - I have XP SP3 and the latest version only recognizes A (floppy) D (CD RW) and C drives. It does not recognize E (internal) or USB external drives.
YoKenny
On my XP Pro SP3 system the USB attached F: hard drive is recognized just fine. Can Drive 55
Hi, Can someone with the problem post a log file? Using: defraggler.exe /debug Thanks MrG I would do that if I knew how. I tried to run defragler.exe/debug and all it did was launch Defragler and check for updates. I can post photos of screen shots of the application showing only A & C drives and My Computer showing A, C, E, and I (External Seagate HD). Whiteshark
I would do that if I knew how. I tried to run defragler.exe/debug and all it did was launch Defragler and check for updates. Assuming there is a typo (the right string is Defraggler.exe /debug, notice the space between 'exe' and '/' ) then open the Defraggler install folder. You should find there a text file named about like this > 'Defraggler.exe.[1_3_93][2008-10-03_15-36].txt' That is the file needed by MrG to investigate Guide in italiano per CCleaner - Recuva - Defraggler - Speccy
mindwarp
Can someone with the problem post a log file?Using: defraggler.exe /debug I registered just to do this, since this was driving me nuts when I upgraded to 1.03.093 today. 1.02 does detect C: and J: (two partitions from the same internal hard drive), as well as A:, E:-H: (USB card reader slots), and, if I have my flash drive or my MP3 player connected, M:. 1.03 is just detecting A:, C:, and E:. I'm going back to 1.02 for now, since I do like to defrag my second partition. defraggler.exe._1_3_93__2008_10_03_21_40_.txt defraggler.exe._1_3_93__2008_10_03_21_40_.txt
