Even if they do not change the world , they are useful tools for computers. Anyway, I'm going to make notice some mistakes to the french translator (I don't even know who it is!). Salut ? tous. Ouais, je v pas faire mon chieur d?s mon arriv?e mais j'ai qqs remarques ? faire quant ? la traduction fran?aise de Deffragler. Je suis vraiment un grand fan des logiciels de Piriform, sinc?rement, et en partie, ce qui fait son charme, c'est son "multilanguisme". Bon voil? ce que j'ai rep?r? comme "fautes": 1) Ce n'est pas "Corbille" mais "Corbeille" dans "Vider la corbille avant la d?fragmentation?". 2) La phrase "Couleurs personnalis?es pour le diagramme du disque" est trop longue (tellement qu'elle finit par d?border et par ?tre cach?e par le bouton "choisir"). Je pense que ?a serait mieux de renommer ?a en un truc genre: "Personnaliser les couleurs (l?gende)". 3) "Show cleanup drive prompt before defrag" n'a pas ?t? traduit. C'est vraiment bizarre, au m?me titre que "Quick defrag drive" au sein du menu principal. Voil?, merci ? tous ceux qui ont et qui vont contribuer ? l'?laboration de ce programme ? la fois joli, l?ger et performant. A+ . F?licitations... Aethec Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 1) Oui, j'ai remarqu?, mais trop tard :-( J'ai pas trouv? de moyen d'activer le correcteur orthographique sur Piriform Translator alors je fais quelque fautes de frappe :-( 2) ?a fait d?conner l'interface, en effet. J'ai mis "Personnaliser les couleurs du diagramme", je pense que ?a ira. 3) Il y a en effet pas mal de petits bugs, mais je peux rien y faire. Les 2 dont tu parles ont ?t? rajout?s apr?s la sortie de la derni?re version, et il y a plein d'autres bugs pour lesquels je peux rien faire - c'est le logiciel de traduction qui bug, ainsi que certains strings manquants. Je suis pas un professionnel de la traduction de logiciel ( loin de l?!) mais il y a qqch que je comprends pas ^^. Vu que les strings correspondant ? "quick defrag drive" et ""Show cleanup drive prompt before defrag" sont respectivement 32832 et 1051 (si je ne me trompe pas ), ne peut-on pas mettre dans le fichier texte en langage fran?ais un truc du genre 32832="D?fragmentation rapide" et 1051="Nettoyer rapidement le disque avant d?fragmentation"? C'est Piriform qui les ajoute, et de temps ? autre ils oublient de le faire. De plus il y a quelques bugs (strings traduits dans le traducteur mais pas dans le logiciel, strings absents mais traduits (!?!), strings toujours pas ajout?s depuis le d?but..) Willy2 Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 There's still a significant amount of work to be done by the programmers and the official translaters of the Vietnamese(#1), Catalan(#2), Croatian(#3), Lithuanian(#4), Norwegian(#5) versions to improve v1.17. And all is language/translation related. When one change the language then some text isn't translated. All errors/omissions mentioned below (except #3) are occurring in the ""Settings""-menu. 1. The text ""Show Cleanup drive prompt before defrag"" is never translated into any other language, this text always remains in english. This error already occured in v1.15 and v1.16. Isn't there a language string available in one of the language DLLs ?? Or is this text ""hardcoded"" ?? The other omissions are related to, can be found in the language DLLs. 2. The text ""Show folder index entries in file list"" isn't translated in languages #1, 2, 4 and 5. (see above). This string (string table group 24-1033) is missing in the DLL file for these languages DLLs and then the program uses the english string text instead. 3. The word ""Unknown"" in the column ""fragmentation"" in the main screen isn't translated in languages #3, 4,and 5. (string table group 20-1033 in the DLL files). 4. The text ""Use drive custom drive colors"" isn't translated in languages #4 and 5. (string table group 23-1033) 5. Tab ""Quick Defrag"": The translation DLLs for languages #2, 4 and 5 the DLL still needs an additional amount of translation strings. All text remains in english. 6. Tab ""Exclude"": The translation DLLs (languages #4 and 5) still needs an additional amount of translation strings. All text in those languages is in english. 7. Tab ""Quick Defrag"": the text "?se custom rules"" in Vietnamese isn't translated due to a missing string in that language DLL file. My mother tongue is not english, dutch is. Same thing for "Stop", "Quick Defrag Drive", "Archives", ... Il suffit de le copier dans le sous-répertoire "Lang" de Defraggler, en remplacement de celui d'origine. @+ As the official translator seems a little "tired" , find here below attached the French language file for V2.07.346. Please note that the S.M.A.R.T. attributes translations are given to enable the "average French user" to understand a little what's going on with his/her disk(s).
