Moderators DennisD Posted April 26, 2008 Moderators Share Posted April 26, 2008 Hi Jeoff. How are you connecting your camera? Does your pc not have slots for the camera's memory card? If no, and you are connecting via USB, is the pc recognizing the camera at all? If you click "My Computer", can you see which USB the camera is connected to, and if yes, can you double click and open a window with the pictures displayed or listed? Any info will help, although for tonight, it's very late here and I'm logging off. I'll get back to you if no one else can jump in.
craigathus
Hi Jeoff Is this the first time you have tried to acquire images from that camera? I had a Kodak camera and also had problems with their software! Try uninstalling the software and then reinstalling, that worked for me. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds http://www.piriform.com/docs http://www.postimage.org/

Moderators DennisD Posted April 26, 2008 Moderators Share Posted April 26, 2008 You've got me Jeoff. Have you been using a USB cable to connect your camera to the pc?

Moderators DennisD Posted April 26, 2008 Moderators Share Posted April 26, 2008 The only thing I could suggest is the obvious really. A process of elimination. Are your USB sockets working OK with other stuff, such as memory stick? As mentioned above, when you click MY Computer, is the USB icon (removable disk) visible? Moderators DennisD Posted April 28, 2008 Moderators Share Posted April 28, 2008 I dunno if you're coming back to this thread Jeoff, but in case you do, the point I was leading up to is to dispense with your cameras software altogether. I have a Nikon digital camera at the moment, and I binned the software that came with it the day after giving it a try. I find it much easier to transfer pics onto the pc with Windows Explorer. If your USB sockets, and your USB cable are not at fault, maybe you could have tried the same thing. Thought it worth a mention.
