Warlock
When asked how old you are I answer "Old enough to know better." :-) If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain. If I can ease one life the aching or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain. kroozer
...looking forward to wandering around this great country of AUS in my Nissan X-trail 2005 Ti 5 speed manual (with all the fruit) with my fishing rod and gas stove. (and beer/wine) This is for you, Tas. That beer/wine should help smooth the fishing trips.

Tasgandy
Don't forget to log in with pics and info of your journey as you wizz round Australia Tasgandy Hazelnut I am not leaving till July 14th when I am due to drive to Devonport (Tasmania) which is where the Spirit of Tasmania (Vehicular Ferry) leaves from and docks in the Port of Melbourne (Australia mainland). I then will head up to a country town called Swan Hill which is located on the banks of the Murray River, some 350Klm North west of Melbourne. I shall commence my "wandering " there by spending some 3 to 4 days fishing for Murray Cod. Now concentrating on saving $$ from my pension towards the total cost of the trip, about 3 weeks away from my home State of Tasmania. In all I plan on covering about 4,000 Klm during the 24 days away and plan to take my G4 power Mac with me. For those interested: X-Trail 2005 Ti Model, 110,000klm, 5 speed manual, am/fm Radio, CD, DVD player, TV 7" LCD screen, 6" driving lights, LED reversing light, electric sun roof, roof racks, 6.5" Mag wheels, Hankook DynaPro tyres (looking to fit AT's before trip re lots of gravel roads to cover) will carry 2 spare tyres. Coleman 49ltr Xtreme cooler + gas stove, light etc. large size St John first aid kit. Corona.....I'm not sure what your comment means........."Gascandy" are you referring to me having to use a heap of petrol? if so - you are correct, 4000 klm @ average 2 & 4 wheel work, about 10 ltrs per 100 klm's @ $1.45 per ltr....lots of $$$. a small price to pay for seeing our great country. No, my comment was done in a more immature sophomoric vein (), but your definition/reasoning makes way more sense. Must be pretty cool to see all the countryside in style and freedom.
