Moderators DennisD Posted February 28, 2008 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2008 Dunno why I'm looking at this stuff. Maybe wishful thinking that I still qualified for it.
Moderators rridgely Posted February 28, 2008 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2008 Awesome! Ms has been good to me lately. First office ultimate for $60 and now these for free. Only problem is that I dont really have any use for these programs. I'll probably get them anyway. (A new server pc could be cool...)
Moderators rridgely Posted February 29, 2008 Moderators Share Posted February 29, 2008 Jeez looking at the prices of these programs I'm amazed. Visual studio is like 800 and expression is 600. No wonder they have to give them to students for free. They wouldn't be able to afford them to learn how to use them. One program that could get a big boost out of this would be adobe photoshop/acrobat/page maker/ ect. But I guess students are already pirating those most of the time. CTskifreak
Why would they give copies of Windows Server 2003 to students??? I could understand giving it to colleges, but to students??? I might grab a few of those, especially since I'm going to college next year. AJ

I wonder if the "we're always learning" moniker would work for us. Nah they'd probably deny us.
Moderators DennisD Posted February 29, 2008 Moderators Share Posted February 29, 2008 I've said many times on here "my education continues", but the university thing would be be a stopper. Belonging to the "Piriform Institute of Special Studies", and taking the P.I.S.S. exam, might not cut the mustard.

login123
Thanks, Hazelnut, you're the best. Will pass this on to eligible kids in the family. The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.
